A Reckless Witch

A Reckless Witch by Debora Geary

When you were taught to do things one way and then find that you're doing more harm than good, how do you handle that? Sierra Brighton was raised to think that magic was there to play with, to dance in the water with the dolphins. She didn't know that there were consequences, that people could die if she wasn't careful. She found out the hard way when she wanted to play with some water and it caused a Tsunami. Luckily it was a small bird that died and not the thousands of people it could have. This was the start to her changing her ways and it terrifies her to the point where she might just give up her powers rather than hurt anyone or anything again.

Getting to know Sierra we see the other witches from previous books, how they respond to her and her lack of thought when casting magic. They too struggle with making everything safe for everyone. Can Sierra calm down and learn to be the best witch she can be?

I certainly loved this book as much as I did the others. I loved seeing all the family work through their thoughts and then in the end decided to stand beside each other and face what they needed to. It was amazing to see Nat and Jamie's baby being born. I for one can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Check it out! You won't be disappointed!
