Sand Castle Bay

Sand Castle Bay by Sherryl Woods
I was lucky enough to receive this book as an ARC.
  May Contain Spoilers!!

In a trade-off she's lived to regret, Emily Castle left home years ago to become an interior designer. The youngest of three sisters, Emily desperately wanted to prove herself. Success, though, came at the cost of leaving behind the man she loved.

For Boone Dorsett, losing Emily left his heart shattered, but another woman was waiting in the wings. Now a widower with a young son, Boone has a second chance with Emily when a storm brings her home. But with his former in-laws threatening a custody suit, the stakes of loving her are higher than ever.

Will fate once again separate them-or is the time finally right for these two star-crossed lovers?**

Sherryl Woods is another of my go to authors, she never disappoints me. Her series that she writes are just homey and familiar. In this story Emily comes home after ten years away only to come face to face with her one that got away. Emily wanted something more when she left. She wanted a career, to see places and things. Thinking that she had to leave Boone behind to achieve those things left a hole in her heart and left him devastated.

Boone thought he'd gotten over Emily, until he saw her again ten years later. He married Jenny and had a son, B.J.  Lived his life and was for the most part happy. His wife died from an infection that couldn't of been prevented, but he blames himself and so does his mother in law. Jodie Farmer will do anything to make sure that Boone's potential life with Emily doesn't happen. She feels that Emily is the reason that her daughter had a loveless marriage.

I could go on and on but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. Read this one and follow the ups and downs of the relationship that Boone and Emily have. The issues that every couple goes through with a bit of a twist!
