Own the Wind (Chao's #1)

Own the Wind by Kristen Ashley

Too hot to handle...

Tabitha Allen grew up in the thick of Chaos--the Chaos Motorcycle Club, that is. Her father is Chaos' leader, and the club has always had her back. But one rider was different from the start. When Tabby was running wild, Shy Cage was there. When tragedy tore her life apart, he helped her piece it back together. And now, Tabby's thinking about much more than friendship...

Tabby is everything Shy's ever wanted, but everything he thinks he can't have. She's beautiful, smart, and as his friend's daughter, untouchable. Shy never expected more than friendship, so when Tabby indicates she wants more--much more--he feels like the luckiest man alive. But even lucky men can crash and burn...

I read all the books in the series this set of books were spun off of. I was expecting a certain way that Shy would be, like Tack or Hawk.  Even if he was like Mitch or Slim, I could of enjoyed it much more. I didn't hate the book but I really didn't love it either.

Shy and Tabitha have been dancing around each other for years. One way or another they can't get together and then things go south for Tabitha and Shy is there to pick her up. Needless to say the brothers of the MC and especially her father are not happy with the union. They just think its not right.

There were a ton of time jumps in this story. I understand that it was to move the story along. I just couldn't connect with Tabby or Shy.  All and all the book was alright. Now I'm having a hard time wanting to read the next in this series.
