Nobody But You

Nobody but You by Jill Shalvis

SOMETIMES YOU CAN GO HOME AGAIN…

After an overseas mission goes wrong, Army Special Forces officer Jacob Kincaid knows where he must go to make things right: back home to the tiny town of Cedar Ridge, Colorado. All he needs to scrub away his painful past is fresh mountain air, a lakeside cabin, and quiet solitude. But what he discovers is a gorgeous woman living on a boat at his dock.

Sophie Marren has nowhere else to go. She’s broke, intermittently seasick, and fighting a serious attraction to the brooding, dishy, I’m-too-sexy-for-myself guy who’s now claiming her dock. Something about Jacob’s dark intensity makes her want to tease—and tempt—him beyond measure. Neither one wants to give any ground . . . until they realize the only true home they have is with each other.**

Thanks to Grand Central Publishing and Netgalley for the book in exchange for a honest review.

I want to know who doesn't love a sexy, silent military guy that's come home to reunite with his family that he left many years ago? I know that I do!! I was hooked from page one and couldn't stop reading.

Jacob is Hud's twin ( Hud was the hero in book two of this series) and he's been MIA for a few years. He's not just gone he's in the military but he doesn't call or write. When he left there was some bad words between the brothers and that is the reason they haven't talked. Some things have recently happened in Jacobs life that made him want to come home. He's on leave and trying to make amends to his brothers and sister. He didn't expect to meet Sophie. She turned his world upside down.

Sophie's life has been not so great since her divorce. She's living on a boat that she hates but its the only place she has and it's the only thing she took from the divorce. She has to make it work because she's stubborn and won't sell it because that wouldn't hurt her ex as much as her living on it does. She doesn't have any money to buy a pass for her boat to dock so she just roams until it's dark enough and she thinks no one will question where she's docked.  Then dock patrol, Jacob, tells her she's got to move her boat. She instantly notices that he's a great looking guy but chides herself for thinking of that.

The two together are explosive and have a fire between them that people can feel. They're great together and I love that even though Sophie's life is a mess she doesn't take anyones crap. I loved seeing everyone from the other books and for sure Jill Shalvis is an auto buy for me always! Leave love in the form of a review!
