Wyoming Brave

Wyoming Brave by Diana Palmer

Ren Colter may own an enormous ranch in Wyoming, but he scorns his wealth. He's closed himself off since his fiancée left him years ago, so he's shocked when he allows Meredith Grayling to stay with him. He tells himself it's only to protect the blonde beauty from a stalker, but Ren's alpha instincts soon kick in.

The last thing Merrie wants is a devastatingly handsome man like Ren lurking around her. He's too experienced, too appealing for her already shot nerves. What she needs is just to get away from it all: the man haunting her waking dreams and the one hunting her like an animal. But no woman escapes this Colter cowboy!**

Thanks to Harlequin and Netgalley for the book in exchange for a honest review!

I have been reading Diana Palmer books since I was a teenager. Sure I probably shouldn't have but they hooked me in and I love them. People have said she has a formula, overbearing older man and a young naïve girl that falls madly for the overbearing and sometimes cruel man. It is just about the same thing all the time and who cares! I love it. I love the feeling it gives me. Its nostalgic, I don't mind that its a formula.

Merrie is free, sort of. Her father was horrible and terrible, but now he's gone.  Now she and Sari (her sister) can do what they want. They can go to eat in a restaurant, or have friends. ANYTHING! After the man sent to kill her is caught. So they do what they need to do and Merrie goes to stay at her friend Randall's ranch in Wyoming.  His brother, Ren, is terrible, but its mostly bark.

Ren has been wronged in the past, he doesn't trust women. Now he's got another of Randalls women in his house and he doesn't want to be nice to her or even have her in his house! Soon he starts to realize that she's different, she has a way with animals and all of the men like her. He still thinks she's Randall's girlfriend and so he thinks she's fast and easy. Life has a funny way of sending it you what you need when you don't want it.

Ren is mean, he doesn't give an inch with her. He is rude and snappy. Merrie doesn't have any experience with men or anything really. Despite the life she's had she is sweet and trusts that people can be good.  Even though Merrie is sweet and innocent she doesn't let people walk all over her. I loved that she did have a backbone.

This is a classic Diana Palmer book, its the same thing she writes all the time. I enjoy it. It's great to read and easy to enjoy. Leave a review for the author to show your love!!
