Professor Richter's Rules.

Professor Jake Richter’s Rules for hookups:

1. Never date a student.
2. Never use my real name.
3. Never stay the night.

After a hot, one night stand with Paige, I’m breaking all my rules.

And now—as she sits in my lecture hall—I’m completely distracted by the memories of her writhing beneath me, moaning my name.

This is going to be one hell of a long semester.

Paige Flores’ rules for school:

1. Complete my degree in record time.
2. Don’t get distracted by anyone or anything.
3. Above all else, do not end up knocked up and alone—like my mother did.

Finally giving up my V-card to the funny, hot, one night stand I met at the club last week was the best time I've ever had.

But I have goals and dreams in my sights. The last thing I need is to be sidetracked by a hot guy.

And now—as he stands at the front of the lecture hall as the professor for a class I'll do anything to pass—Professor Jake Richter has me breaking all my rules.**

Thank you to the author for the book in exchange for a review. I'm incredibly thankful for the authors that, like Jessa, who have been there for me while I was navigating the new world I live in. Being there waiting for me to be ready to read.

Back to the world that Jessa creates, teachers and students. Sure it's taboo but isn't that half the fun?

Paige is out with her friend, Alex, and they play the game they always do, "Who would you?" She's not shocked by Alex's choice but her choice is. He's beautiful and way out of her league she thinks. But of everyone in the club, he's her pick. Now the rules are after you pick the person you have to make contact somehow. It can be a casual brush against them or talking to them. Alex isn't going to let it go so she has to do this. Paige generally has her nose stuck in a book, boys haven't interested her. This man, he has her enamored.

Jake is hanging out at the club, and he sees a curvy girl that snags his attention. He knows the game she's playing with her friend and he's happy to see that she chose him as her "who would you?". He picked her as his!

Names are exchanged, maybe not the correct ones but names none the less.  They dance and have a good time until a fire alarm goes off and they have to make their way out of the club. Wet and cold they find Alex and she goes home with Jake. It feels like its the right decision.

I loved this book. Their passion is electric and jumps off the page. I also love that while they didn't have a conventional relationship, Jake didn't jerk her around once they were together. He was all in and Paige was the one holding back a bit.

Unicorns, and mood rings, this story has everything in it to keep you entertained. Jake and Paige have a connection and not just a physical one. You get to see the characters from the first book of this series, Mr. Marshall's Method. I don't think you have to read that before you read Professor Richter's story but I would suggest it because you'll be a little lost when they talk about Holly and Evan.

If you read this book, or really any other book, share your love for the book and the author by writing a review. It doesn't have to be a big one, just a few words and share the book on your social media.
