Scoring the Billionaire by Max Monroe
Two love-matches made.
One to go.
Even though two of his best friends have settled down, Wes Lancaster is determined not to get sucked into some siren’s web. As owner of the professional football team the New York Mavericks and wildly successful BAD restaurant, his lifestyle is full as it is.
Well, it was, until Winnie Winslow, the new, sexy, stiletto-wearing Team Physician trash-talks him in the locker room without batting an eye.
Now he can’t stop himself from wanting her.
The only girl in her parents’ brood of five, she’s as outspoken as she is beautiful and the kind of woman who holds her own—and then some.
Always competitive at heart, if he’s going all in for love...
Wes sure as hell wants a Win-Win.
Prepare to get a little dirty because this one might go into overtime.
Game. On.
Ridiculous Note:
Wes and Winnie.
We love this couple and the people that flow into them like literary tributaries more than you can imagine.
We think you'll love them like we do, but if you don't...don't tell us. ;) HAHA. Sometimes ignorance really is bliss.
xoxo, Max Monroe
Thank you to the authors for the book in exchange for a honest review.
Wes has watched his friends fall to the love bug and he wasn't having it happen to him. He enjoyed his women and wasn't getting tied down, well he didn't use to want it. Watching his friends happy and in love makes him feel jealous. Winnie may be his downfall though. He wants her and she wants him but she's got a kid and needs someone that can be there for them. It's not a game.
Winnie can't help but want Wes, he's gorgeous. He's also trouble. She loves her job as the team doctor, its so much better for her life. She doesn't want to mess up this just to sleep with Wes. While the new job includes travel its so much better than when she was working at the hospital. Once she lets her guard down though its lightening. It's so much more than sparks. They just click and she's starting to have more than just lust for him. They start getting more serious.
While Wes is so loving the time they have together and he even loves spending time with her daughter, Lexi, he doesn't know if he can be all that they really need.
I loved watching these two give into the lust and attraction. They fought it but when they gave in it was so good. Even though all of that was great it was awesome see Wes learn that he may not be the model for perfection in the significant other or pseudo parent area but he was perfect for Winnie and Lexi. If you've loved the other books in this series this one won't be a disappointment. You get to see Kline, Georgia, Thatch and Cassie. There might even be a new addition to the gang. Let the authors know your thoughts with a review, it's your chance to show your love!
