His Every Need

His Every Need by Terri L. Austin

How far will she go to hold on to her family home?

When Allie Campbell's father loses their home to British tycoon Trevor Blake, she pleads for more time to pay off the loan. But Trevor refuses to acknowledge his own family, so he's completely unconcerned with hers. Allie impulsively offers to do anything to keep the house, so he teasingly tells her to move in with him and cater to his every need. To his amazement, she agrees...

Allie has no other options. She's trying to keep everyone happy in her family, but since her mother died things have really gone to shit. Her dad is grieving so badly that he's left all decisions about her sisters to her. She cooks, cleans and basically does everything that's needed done. When she gets home and a man is waiting to measure the house, it's really the worst news she could get. Her father has lost it all, the house and business to a British tycoon.  Not wanting to accept this other setback in her life she goes to Mr. Blake and begs him to give her some time to try and pay him back but he won't. When she says she'll do anything to save her family home, he flippantly says something about her working on the strip and making good money that way. He also eludes to sex, when she takes him up on his flippant offer, he's shocked.

Trevor doesn't want to deal with Allie but he likes riling her up. He likes the spark she gets in her eyes. She's also easy on the eyes and she'll be a good mistress. So he takes her offer and runs with it. Something about Allie draws him in. He wants to protect her, and make her see that she's putting herself last. Then his horrible parents come to visit. Surprise! They're getting married again and he wants nothing to do with them. At every turn Allie is asking questions he doesn't want to answer but slowly she breaks all of his defenses.

I really enjoyed watching Trevor learn that love isn't something that can just be ignored. His parents were awful parents but I loved the characters. Allie's dad was awful too.  Her sisters seem like they just expect Allie to do everything for them. They don't want to do the work to get where they need to go. Well really its the middle sister Monica. I enjoyed the story very much. So much so that once I started reading it I had a hard time putting it down! I look forward to the next book in the series!

Thanks to Terri L. Austin for the book in exchange for an honest review!!
