For His Brother's Wife

For his Brother's Wife by Kathie DeNosky

The tornado that tore apart Royal, Texas, ripped Paige Richardson's world to shreds. She lost her husband, and she expected her husband's twin, construction tycoon Colby Richardson, to offer a shoulder to lean on. But instead, he's distant. Why? What happened to the closeness they once shared?

For years, Cole has kept his distance, but now he's staying on Paige's ranch while he helps the town rebuild. It's only a matter of time before the feelings and secrets he's hidden all come to the surface.

Cole has been back in Royal since the tornado went through and destroyed so much. Now most of the houses are back in working order and one of the last ones that need something done to them is his sister-in-law's house. He's always had feelings for her and being close to her now threatens his self control. His brother knew he had feelings for Paige and pretty much stole her right out from under him. After that Cole left everything behind and started a life in Dallas.  Being near her is bringing all the feelings back and he doesn't want to mess with the memories she has with his brother.

Paige always had feelings for Cole in high school but he never made a move so when his brother Craig made his move she just accepted it. She married him and never looked back. Her marriage wasn't all roses and sunshine though. Now Cole is staying at her house, at her insistence, and she's not so sure that she made the right choice. She has feelings for him and she isn't sure she should be feeling it.  When they go through Craig's things and find proof of his real feelings for everyone. Paige doesn't know what to think and it clouds the feelings and thoughts she has for Cole.

I really enjoyed reading Paige and Cole's story. They love each other and they feel guilty about it. When they finally let go of the past and reach for the future it was a great love and easy to fall for. Paige found the happiness she always wanted and Cole found the great love he thought he lost. Royal, TX is on its way back to one hundred percent and we got to see some of the residents find their happily ever afters. I'm sad to see this series end, and hopefully they'll bring it back again, like they did this time!
