Campaigning for Christopher: The Winslow Brothers #4 by Katy Regnery
Date of Publication: November 17, 2015
Blurb
Christopher Winslow, the youngest of the four Winslow brothers, was born with a silver spoon in his privileged mouth, which has made it difficult for him to establish his credibility in the fast-approaching congressional race. Working against the clock to assure Pennsylvania voters that he is forthright, trustworthy and able has been an exhausting challenge, but Christopher's chances at beating the incumbant look good.
Julianne Crow, a plus-size model struggling to make ends meet, jumps at the chance to make a little extra cash on the side. What does she have to do? Slip something into Christopher Winslow's drink and take some very naughty pictures with him.
But Christopher is nothing like Julianne expected, and when her actions sabotage his hard- earned campaign only a month before the election, her guilt is overwhelming. She offers Christopher her help in an effort to repair the damage she's caused, but can anything change the fact that he sees her as an opportunist and a mercenary? When she starts campaigning for Christopher, he may find out there's more to her than meets the eye.
Return to the world created in the English Brothers books with this fresh foursome of scorching hot Winslow Brothers!

My Review
I received this as an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
I have read just about every single book Katy has written and I will continue. Not only are her books sweet and romantic but they have spicy tidbits too. They're a great getaway and these latest ones surround a family that I love getting to see again!
We've seen Christopher in a few of the other Winslow brothers books but just glimpses. I'll be honest when I say that I wasn't too keen on him, he seemed like a cold person. I think now it was just a cover to hide any feelings. In fact I know it was. He loves his family but doesn't let people close.
Julianne is a gorgeous plus sized model that waitresses with a catering company, to make money. The modeling isn't full time right now. She's an American Indian, the prejudices she's seen has made her have a chip on her shoulder about people that are racist. When she's approached and told things along these lines about Christopher Winslow, she doesn't hesitate to be a part of his downfall. She realizes way too late that hes nothing that she was told. To make up for her transgression she goes and offers to help in anyway. Now she's his fake girlfriend, and shes pretty sure he hates her.
Christopher wants to win this election, he wants to contribute to the world by helping his area. When pictures surface of him in a compromising position, he sees his political life going down the drain. The woman that did it to him is now his right hand, and is trying to fix everything. He finds her attractive but she burned him, so she's off limits. The more time he spends with her though the more he fights the attraction.
I really loved Christopher and Julianne once I got passed her faux pas. She's young and was quick to jump at a chance to right something she thought was wrong but she didn't check her facts. She grew up fast and fought tooth and nail to right the wrong she did. Fighting the attraction and soon it became love. Julianne fell hard and fast for the man Christopher was, how he wanted what was best for the people he was asking to vote for him. Their love was so realistic. They were instantly attracted, but they had to work for it. That made it even more special to me. Katy has a way of making you feel like you are in the story with them. I get sucked in to her books and then they're over and I'm morose that I read them so fast. EVERY TIME. You can read these separately, they work but I would say you need to read all of them in order so that you can experience it all. Leave her love in the form of a review she deserves it.
