Scot of My Dreams

Scot of My Dreams by Janice Maynard

Willow Ryman is as crazy about Scotland as her friends, but she's on a tighter budget. So during their visit, she opts to stay at a shabby local hostel instead of a cozy B&B. When the owners abruptly decide to shut down for renovations, Willow is left out in the cold—until while exploring the countryside, Willow meets a handsome, friendly, kilt-clad fisherman. The Scotsman is everything she's dreamed about. But he's a blueblood, and she's blue collar…

Bryce McBrae's lineage as Laird McBrae has always been more of a burden than a blessing. Rarely does it spark such stimulating conversation as he enjoys with the pretty, refreshing American. Wanting more and unwilling to let Willow slip away, he invites her to stay at his castle. But as the two fall hard and fast for each other, they'll have to decide whether this is just a vacation fling—or a sexy Cinderella story come true…**

Thanks to Kensington and Netgalley for the book in exchange for a honest review!

Have you watched Outlander? If you have you've probably wished for the same adventure to befall you that Claire has been given. If not then what are you waiting for?!?! Hot Scotsman saving the girl and they fall in love! Sure, sure there are a ton of other things that go on in the show and the books they're based on but the gyst is this: time travel and romance.

Ok so in the first book we followed Hayley around and watched her romance bloom. Now we get to follow Willow around. Willow has left her salon business behind in the hands of her stylists and she's not used to taking time off. Her best friends wanted to have the same adventure that they saw in Outlander and McKenzie paid for the flights; how could she say no?!? She figured she'd go and have a relaxing time and go home to her salon and remember the trip forever. Then she met Bryce and was stunned that maybe she would have a holiday romance.

Bryce has a lot on his shoulders and when his dog knocks over a tall woman and dirtys her up. Shes beautiful and he's attracted but his life is so complicated. His sister is still mourning her husband and his uncle lives with him as well but is going downhill fast. He can't help but want to steal time with Willow. She's brought back some life to his sister and she treats his uncle well. She also doesn't act like his money and laird title means anything to her.

I loved the first one and when I saw this one I had to grab it and I couldn't even wait until it was close to release to read it. It was fun and it just made my yearnings to travel to Scotland and the like even more. I hope you read it, love it and then leave a review for the author. They deserve it.
