Falling for Fitz

Falling for FItz by Katy Regnery

Fitz English and Daisy Edwards fell in love during one magical summer when they were teenagers. When something tragic happens at the end of the summer, Daisy tells Fitz she never wants to see him again. Despite his feelings for her, he respects her wishes and for almost a decade Fitz and Daisy go their separate ways.

Almost ten years later, when Daisy moves home to Philadelphia, they meet again, and both are shocked to discover that the feelings they had that summer are just as deep and real today. There's a little snag, however. It seems that Daisy is engaged to someone else, and she's come home to get married.

Can Fitz get Daisy to fall for him all over again before it's too late? Only if Daisy can learn to trust the man who shattered her heart once upon a time.**

When you're a teenager you only dream of finding a summer love like Fitz and Daisy had. Each one thinking it was just them feeling as deeply as they did and fearing that the other didn't reciprocate. Little did they know but they both felt the same.

Daisy's life was in a downward spiral, her parents were splitting up. She felt like her life at home was in turmoil and the life she has while spending the summer at her uncle and aunts was her last chance at some normalcy. Being with Fitz that summer was magical, he took such care with her and made her feel like she was special. How could she not fall in love with him? He was charming and charismatic, plus he was game for whatever she threw at him.

Fitz hadn't met a girl like Daisy ever. She was the niece of the gardener and the maid, but that never mattered. She was beautiful and vibrant. He would follow her anywhere and he did for a whole summer. The last night she gave him her body and the gift of it being her first time. Sometimes though things don't always go the way you hope they do. Sometimes mistakes happen and it messes everything up.

Daisy had more turmoil that year, and even though Fitz wanted to be there  for her she told him to leave and go back to London, where he was at school. He respected her wishes and left, and didn't see her for nine years. Now that Daisy has decided to move back home, Fitz is beside himself. He's never stopped loving her but she doesn't love him, how could she? She brought home a fiancee. Like his brothers told him though she's not married yet, so he's going to do everything to show her that he still loves her.

I don't know what it was about Fitz but I loved him more than I did Barrett. He was so open to the love he felt for Daisy. He may not of said it, but he felt it and knew that it was real and he had to everything in his power to make her see that.  I loved watching them, it was always like they were the only two in the room and sometimes that got them in trouble LOL!!! This story was beautifully written and I just wanted to stop so I could savor it but then I couldn't stop because I wanted to gobble it up. I can't wait to read the other brothers stories. Alex, Stratton (really can't wait for his story) and Weston. They're going to be amazing just like the first two I just know it!! Go and read you know you want too!! Leave love for the author in the form of a review!!
