My Review
I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Steph has issues with anything military, and when I say issues I mean she hates it. Steph's dad was killed in action before she was born and she feels robbed of a life with her father. There fore she wants nothing to do with anything military. Shockingly enough on New Years Eve she meets and shares her New Years kiss with a guy in camo. This guy, he gives her a kiss that rocks her world and then walks away without telling her is name or even saying anything. Now she can't get him out of her head and worst of all she doesn't really know what he looks like because of the face paint.
Brandon knows what she looks like though and he can't get her out of his mind either. When he goes to his Women's lit class and shes there and he knows that fate has given him another chance. He really should stay focused on his school work and his training but something about Steph makes him want to get to know her.
They finally get together and things are going so well, they have chemistry. She likes him and he likes her. She just doesn't know that he's ROTC and has four years to serve the Army after graduation. When she does find out it's not a pretty sight. She doesn't know how she can love someone that represents what took away her father. He doesn't know how their relationship will work if she hates what he's worked so hard toward and will make his own father happy.
This book was such a great read. I loved the characters. I felt like I was watching a movie instead of reading this book. Sydney paints a beautiful picture with her words. Tessa and Xavier were amazing and supportive friend. It was a lovely book from start to finish and I was sad to see it end. All of Sydney Logan's books are amazing but I think each new book becomes my favorite. Don't forget to check it out and leave her some love in the form of a review.
Thank you! xxoo
