Sticks & Stones (Cut & Run #2)
This second addition in the Cut and Run series take us on a deep journey into the mountains of West Virginia. Ever since the end of their first assignment together, Zane and Ty have each been displaying signs of emotional distress caused from the finality of that case.
We start out with Zane and Ty being separated again. Zane in Miami and Ty on assignment. Both have resorted to old vices to help them through the constant need to be together. Ty, to his random hook-ups with women and Zane to boos and drugs.
Upon being called back to DC and ordered on vacation, they decide to go and visit Ty's family in Bluefield Wva. They each needed this time to work through some issues. However, no where is safe in this world of crazy.
What started out as a nice hike in the woods, quickly turned into an adventure of suspense, death and a mountain lion.
In this addition, you get to meet Deacon, Ty's brother, Earl, his father, Charlie (the WWII vet) that sleeps with a shovel, and his sweet mother.
I do not want to spoil the adventure, but trust me this book is well worth the read and now it's on to Fish & Chips, the next in this amazing series.
