Jaxi has other plans for Blake’s hands, and his heart. She may have once considered him a big brother, but that was a long time ago. She’s all grown up now and ready to convince him that she’s perfect for him. Except he can’t seem to see past the big “don’t touch” sign that’s apparently still hanging around her neck.
When Jaxi ends up living right under Blake's nose, the undeniable heat between them slides off simmer and leaps up to barn-burning levels. However, a few of the younger six-pack Colemans have decided Jaxi’s brand of trouble is worth risking a few busted bones.
That is, if Blake’s finally ready to let go the reins and fight for what he wants…**
I saw someone reading these books on Goodreads and I needed something different than I'd been reading so I thought why not! Cowboys are hot, the person reading them said they were hot and let me tell you they are!!
Blake is much older than Jaxi. He wants her but she's like the little sister he never had. She was friends with all of the brothers. She was off limits. Nobody told Jaxi that though. She has loved Blake for forever. Now she just had to convince him.
Jaxi goes out to the ranch to help when Blake's mother has an accident, and that helps her work on getting Blake to see her as more than the pseudo sister he tells her he sees her as. She loves being with his family, and they all love her. She's determined and she works hard to get what she wants.
I have to admit that Blake and his resistance was annoying. He kept putting up road block after road block, but he didn't like her flirting with anyone else. He wanted her but didn't want to hold her back. Jaxi didn't see his age as an issue, he was who she was waiting for. I loved watching him crumble and give in to his desires.
