We're back in Maverick land, this time we're following Cam. I know we've seen him in other books but I'm glad that he's gotten his own story.

Cam is pretty easy going as most guys are. He loves his job and he's good at it. He has worked hard his whole life to be good at it. He's got a great set of parents and a sister, all whom love and support him. He doesn't really date much and his main companion is his dog Lucky. 
Trixie is working her ass off down at Skins. She dances and watches, she doesn't need the distraction of this good-looking guy that wants to know her real name. How is she supposed to stay professional and ignore this guy? He's persistent. When she finally drops her guard and tells him her real name she starts falling.  

Oh lord, Y'all this book is crazy good!! I loved Cam and how honest he was. He wasn't there to play games, he wanted to know Trixie/ Lana, and he wasn't going to take no for an answer until he knew she was seriously wanting him to leave her alone. He could feel all the chemistry boiling in between them. He couldn't explain it but he knew they were meant to be more if only she would open up to him. I normally wouldn't like a character like Lana, she was hot and cold, but there are reasons for that. She loves her job and that has always been her life, besides spending time with her family. When she finally realizes that she can have it all she shared her whole heart. Quinn and Cat are my favorite couple, but Cam and Lana came super close to replacing them!
