Maybe Someday

Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover

At twenty-two years old, aspiring musician Sydney Blake has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her good friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter cheating on her with Tori—and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by her mysterious neighbor, Ridge Lawson. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the daily guitar playing he does out on his balcony. She can feel the harmony and vibrations in his music. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either: He seems to have finally found his muse. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…**

I can't imagine finding out from a person you barely know that your boyfriend is cheating on you. Not only is he cheating on you but its with your roommate, most of the time while you're home! Sydney is living this and it's all happening on her birthday. She doesn't have anywhere to go so when Ridge invites her to stay in the spare room he has in his apartment with two other roommates she figures its a soft place to land while she figures out what she's going to do. It also helps with the song writing she's doing with Ridge, close proximity and all that. Problem is that proximity may be too close. She's attracted to Ridge and he's attracted to her but he's got a girlfriend that he won't ever  leave, his words.

Ridge has found his muse, she can write lyrics to his music. The only problem he has is he's attracted to her, and he's got a girlfriend, Maggie, whom he loves and won't ever leave. He promised her and he's going to keep his promise to her, no matter what he feels for Sydney. After some things go down he figures Sydney has to go. He can't be around her and not want her and he won't leave Maggie.

My only problem with this story is that Ridge wanted to be around Sydney and flirt with her and all of that but he still wanted to be with Maggie. You can't even dislike Maggie, shes awesome. She nice and sweet and everything you want in a good friend. There are somethings going on with Maggie but its nothing that can be changed. I hated that Ridge was putting Sydney in a hard position and then getting angry about it. He was selfish to me. He didn't want to explain why he was staying with Maggie.

I loved Warren and I even liked Bridgett.  The story all in all was good but I just found myself getting angry for Sydney. There are some other things that go on in this story that add to it but its a biggggggg thing so I'm gonna keep my mouth shut on it. You'll be as shocked as I was!! I'm a fan of Colleen Hoover's and I think I would read just about anything she writes!!
