Hard to Hold On To

Hard to Hold On To by Laura Kaye

Edward "Easy" Cantrell knows better than most the pain of not being able to save those he loves--which is why he is not going to let Jenna Dean out of his sight. He may have just met her, but Jenna's the first person to make him feel alive since that devastating day in the desert more than a year ago.

Jenna has never met anyone like Easy. She can't describe how he makes her feel--and not just because he saved her life. No, the stirrings inside her reach far beyond gratitude.

As the pair are thrust together while chaos reigns around them, they both know one thing: the things in life most worth having are the hardest to hold on to.**

We met Jenna in the last book, she's Crystals little sister.  She was kidnapped in the last book and this one picks up right where that one left off. Jenna has been saved and is a little traumatized. The only thing that seems to keep her calm is Easy. He is a gentle giant with her. She's fascinated by him and has been since she met him.

Easy has had a hard time since his discharge from the army. He's not attempted anything but he's felt like he should end things. Talking to and taking care of Jenna makes him feel calmer. Talking to his team also helps tremendously.

This was a super fast read and I wanted more from their story. I have enjoyed each hero from each book but Easy has to be my favorite so far. Something about him just struck a cord with me. I hope you check out this series. It's pretty awesome! Leave the author love in the form of a review!
