Peter Pan has a plan. Since it's been hundred years since his friends were all cursed by the Brothers Grimm, he is about to wake up Sleeping Beauty, his eternal lover. Oops, you didn't know that. Blame it on the Grimms.
But in the middle of the ceremony, he is visited by the Evil Queen who manipulates him into helping her with information about Snow White. This or she will expose him as he has been secretly kidnapping kids to help him rebuild Neverland in the Dreamworld.
After the deal is made, Peter continues with the ceremony, bringing Sleeping Beauty back into life. What Sleeping Beauty is capable of and who she really is are like nothing ever written in the books
First, I want to say...I REALLY ENJOYED THIS STORY....
Here we have Peter Pan in an abandoned castle. There is a visit by the Queen of Sorrow where she tries to get Peter to help her. I find it odd that someone could defy her so much. The Queen has a bag of items, that we find out later how the relate to the Lost Seven. They are simple clues; beans, knife, plate, fork, bread crumbs, glass mug, and chair. Each connecting to a fairy tale character who has assisted Snow White in the past.
We also get introduced to Count Dracula and the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Sleeping Beauty. Peter believes that bringing back Dracula will bring his lover back to life.
Once Sleeping Beauty wakes, we find out her real name, and that she is a vampire as well.
This is Cameron's first and not last endeavor in pulling other author's characters into his story. You have to ignore the references to Harry Potter, like Twilight in the prior prequel to get to the meat of this story.
Onto Book 4
Until Next Time,
