Moon and Madly (The Grimm Diaries Prequels #8)

The moon...A beautiful girl who uses her light to protect the world while draped in darkness.

Jack..a self centered boy, looking for love and spoils.

This prequel takes us on a journey of how these two meet. Jack saves the Moon. She knew better to walk on Earth, if she is caught by the sun, she would die. The temptation was just too much.

They meet and soon a deep friendship develops. Jack's story is told (a little) and he gives the Moon a necklace that his grandmother said would bring someone back form death.

Even as time ticks away, they are stuck together. Finally, she leaves but time is too much. She decides to take refuge from the sun in the water and she is taken by surprise. A metamorphosis takes place and we are treated with the beginning story of a character that we already know.

How will the world function with no Moon?

We find out a little more in later stories and how the wolves and the Queen play into this story.

Overall, a nice little love story...with a different ending.
